Who We Are
UNEDOMD is a social movement that unites Dominicans abroad and within the country to empower the immigrant community, seeking recognition for their contribution to national development. We address the difficulties they face when visiting or returning to the country, and we offer comprehensive services to ensure a successful transition and promote our cultural values and the Dominican Constitution, both among immigrants and foreigners wishing to settle in the Dominican Republic.
Our Mission
To demand that governments respect and support Dominican immigrants in their rightful dimension, and that their efforts through remittances for the development of the nation’s economy and their families are valued. They should be taken into account at all times and not just during election periods.
Our Vision
That Dominican and foreign immigrants can raise awareness about their rights and responsibilities established in the constitution and laws, and empower themselves to demand recognition from both the authorities shaping the country’s destiny and the population, for their contribution to the development of our nation.
